The european union is not a federation, we do not have a politic union. We cannot resolve issues on the basis of democracy. When prime ministers and presidents and finance ministers meet around the table, there is no serious discussion at all. The whole point of our maintaining that and not cutting it, even when it is unpayable, is to maintain this power. And that will become even more of unequal power.
