How Does Quantum Entanglement Work?

Quantum entanglement is a scientific phenomenon where particles of two atoms become so linked together that looking at one will tell you things about the other. Some say it's a form of teleportation, and it's faster than the speed of light. Einstein even once called it spooky action at a distance. And just recently, researchers in germany demonstrated quantum entanglement of two atoms separated by a new record 33 kilometers, or nearly 20 and a half miles.
