How to Be a Successful CISO
The CISO must ensure that the organization's cybersecurity resources are used efficiently and effectively. The time spent with the risk committee is an excellent opportunity to teach others about business continuity, disaster recovery or even a business impact analysis. You can build an alliance of supporters who help you get initiatives approved and support cyber funding requests. For example, if you can't spend a million dollars because of delays, there's an opportunity that you could walk in even to other cost centers and say, we can help you spend that money.
