eschatology precedes soteriology is taken straight from richard gaffins work. i think my thesis would be in the 20th century a combination of those neo-calvinist sensibilities and texts isolating them from those cataclysmic texts that kori was talking about. combining them with figures like jurgen moltmann and the trinitarian revival of the 20th Century which really imminentized the work of god. I've come across it in the faith and work movement before so there's definitely something there to be correctYeah take that low-hanging fruit absolutely.
