The Fall of Adam Walsh
Two fishermen found the severed head of a small child floating in a canal about two hours from Hollywood. The medical examiner who looked at Adam's remains was able to say that he had died 10 or more days prior. Police continued to work the case, but nothing panned out for years. In November 1981, police arrested a man named Edward James for abducting another young boy.
