The Oligarchic Pleasure of Having Money, Right?
Each one of them seeks a certain kind of pleasure, says Plato. The oligarch desires the pleasure of just doing whatever you want with your money. And the tyrant is conted the extreme of that, the basest kind of pleasure. So each of those goods, right, comes along with a certain form of satisfaction. But for the lover of gain, it's not necessary to taste or have experience of how sweet is the pleasure of learning and the natural characteristic of the things which are even if he were eager to,. It wouldn't be easy. That though this great sage has no knowledge of wealth because he lives on a mountain top, but actually he has plenty of knowledge of wealth.
