Public Hearings - Is That Important?
i was really struck by jim charmers ahed of time, and i guess trying to manage expectations around the summit. People were putting to him all the specific proposals that various groups were bringing,. Whether it was unions or business to the summit. And he just kept saying, well, that's not government policy, but we want to hear everyone's ideas - they should all be part of the discussion. I honestly couldn't remember the last mitbet of politicians say anything remotely like it. It is often quite contentious. Hopefully an bill, i might come to you next.
