John Linnell: Garth Brooks seems like a nice guy to me. He came up real fast and hard in the 90s with a very palatable, clearly country,. But he had that kind of success that drives people really crazy. And again, I'm not here to stand for Garth Brooks. It's easy to bag on Garth Brooks because he's a country boy. Like, how many people have their been since the 50s who like become slightly more mainstream with their country and then people like think they're a sellout or a loser?
