The Warmth of Other Suns

The economic and violent eradication of California's black communities doesn't fit very well into either box of our bifurcated political narrative. This whole situation is in very well known outside of the local areas that are dealing with it over here. But I have a feeling that if the Latino gangbangers or the silicone valley gentrifiers today were wearing white hoods, I expect that it would be better known. In fact, I think we might call it the 82nd Airborne to deal with it.
