The Importance of Migration in Africa

There are tremendous benefits to the freeing of movement of labor, says Christopher. People move for purposes of culture and pay homage to their traditional authorities in other countries - especially in borderland regions. There's a lot of social activity that feeds into the economy that happens in that region. The policies and actions of countries in the global north, which are getting stricter when it comes to migration, are also shaping the movement and migration patterns of Africans within Africa.
