Kvot's Voice Is a Part of the Story, I Think.
Kvot is part of this adimaro troop. They are entertainers, like it is in his blood to use flowery language. And he's also infatuated with dana. He's in love with her. So that particular example, i know that there are more, but that particular example make sense to me. It's not just that rothvis is getting carried away with his own ability to describe things. It's part of the story. To embellishe yes and no. That totally works.
