It's critically important that we find out exactly why, why the bestiis ist is dead. We document our findings photographically. A typical autopsy can take about an hour but if you have a complex case it can take days. The trackings to where you become a francic pathologist are: pre-med school, three years of medical school and residency. Then after you do at least three years of forensic trainingyou're a doctor whos specialized in pothology. And then all of a sudden 12 years later you're a medical examiner.
How can you get away with murder? On this episode, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Chuck Nice explore forensic pathology and autopsies with medical examiner and author Jonathan Hayes, featuring an interview with author of Autopsy, Patricia Cornwell.
