Epi-Bionics: A Combinatorial Approach to Antibodies
The technology platform of Epi is based on three different approaches. In one approach, we're leveraging cytokine receptors where we take advantage of their internalization and natural recycling mechanisms inside the cell. In another approach, we hijack a class of proteins known as eubicatin ligases that exist on the cell surface to mark the disease-causing protein for degradation. And then there is a third platform that we built internally at Epi-biologics, and it leverages a specific degrading receptors for targeting proteins of interest.
