The Difference Between Modernist and Postmodern Perspectives
The experiences that we have depending upon the generation that we're raised in give us a world view, like an imprint, almost like wiring that gets laid on top of our personality type. Depending upon the world view you grew up with, there's going to be a, like, assumptions that we make about what it is that we need want, must have. And so one of the organizing principles that we put forward is using type, not just at its source of understanding and suss out some type preferences, but all the way back to young. The original intent for type was inner inquiry, understanding who we are, deep diving into the self and applying it through growth and development.
