Carl marx admired smith of course and he admired capitalism by the way carl marx considered capitalism to be a necessary intermediate step in the creation of the means of production. When people denigrate capitalism they are committing a horrible semantic problem because you have competitive markets which gave these ingrates everything that they currently own, every fine product that they use and competitive markets for ideas.
