There's no extra checking for wear a a damage on this cable, because all their other planes have carbon steel. The structure of the maintenance manual does not facilitate these checks. And finally, themaintenance organization had never noticed any deterioration, either through corrosion or wear, during the annual replacement of the carbon steel cables that it was used to. They'd never noticed any of that before. Was not, whenout, an issue for them.
