Thomas: Sign speaks to a person's ethnic, religious and cultural identity in ways easier to notice than to explain. He says Pentecostalism is moving more away from the classic Southern Baptist Church into something called the seven mountain dominionism or the seven mountain mandate. And so that linkage between our society and Christian control over all of these various mountains of cultural and political influence, it's inseparable, he says.
