I think that it is true that we change the most when we're young, right? But I also feel like there's an aspect of it that's a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you think about how much you've changed over the last five years, that might be a reasonable proxy for how much you might change over the next five years. You know, as part of my learning process, I actively look for knowledge that is going to disprove my most fundamental beliefs. And that process also creates that change.
