Is There Any Idiot Chattering in a Movie?

There's a rule of thumb screen plays that one page equals one minute of screen time. If we'd gotten five pages of dialogue, we would have got in five minutes, which is a fucklod dialogue. I think this is just an indication that if i'm ever writing, i shouldn't ever say a distinct number of minutes are going to pass. Whenever someone says, like, tit's going to blow in 30 seconds or something, i like, i'll start mentally counting. But also, when you're shooting a movie, it's really hard to know how long any particular shot is going to be.
