I Wonder What It Was Like in Nazi Germany?
The difference in German politics between right and left wingers wasn't so much about the role of government. It was internationalism, saying workers of all nations or brothers should rise up against the ruling classes. The Nazi mentioned no, no Germans of all classes or brothers and we should band together against other nations. Unfortunately everybody did.
