How much do we learn simply by doing the things we're trying to get good at? Question is at the heart of a personal research project ihave been working on for several months. Research shows which conditions lead us to get better through direct practice. These, in turn, have shaped my views about the best way to getGood at complex skills. Here are some of the research findings i've uncovered. One of the major mediators of the learning by doing thesis is task complexity.
