What Does Socialism Look Like in the Early 20th Century?
I thought it was really, first of all, extraordinarily clear and sort of clear sighted. There's a real kind of, i want to call it liqer, i suppose, a realism or pragmaticism that i think guides a lot of the ways that he talks about. Like you mentioned, for instance, there's a reckoning with what socialist practice would have to look like under conditions where one of if not the most powerful economic social institution is the state. But this also looks very different than what, what does Socialist practice look like in russia, like in the early twentieth century? Ye, it might be insurrectionary. That's like an autocratic and agrarian society
