The US Rowing Board of Directors Updated Their 2016 Transgender Policy

In December of 2022, the US rowing board of directors adopted an update to their 2016 transgender policy. The new updated policy says that in the United States, at any level except for collegiate and elite, a boy or man can self identify as a girl or a woman. There are also policies in rowing at the world rowing level, right, or the International Sports Federation level. We will oftentimes see national governing bodies adopting the policies that the international body is supporting.
