What Is Ritual Geology?
I feel like in a way you've tried to take both term artisanal mining and find the opposite of each or at least the more noble of each opposite. Instead of saying traditional or you will say ritual. And instead of saying simply mining the technical kind of knowledge and you said geology which implies obviously the idea of scientific knowledge, not just experiential knowledge. So could you like take us to maybe what you mean by ritual geology here and how did you end up pointing that that term? I think it's such an a great contribution actually to not only to the earth sciences but to the history of geology in general.
