Northfield Mountain has been storing electricity for the grid of New England for decades now. It was built for this constant flow of electricity from nuclear power plants in the 60s. But today it also stores electricity from an entirely different kind of power plant. And most importantly, Northfield Mountain can actually store electricity at a huge scale.
