Fire Inspections vs. Prevention

In this chapter, they discuss an amazing fire program in Wisconsin where three municipalities of the same size and demographics were compared. One focused on heavy fire inspections, one on heavy fire prevention, and one did nothing. Surprisingly, the outcomes showed that the fire inspections had the best results, doing nothing was second, and fire prevention came in last. They also talk about how some fire prevention programs can be ineffective, relating it to the DARE program for drugs.
