Setting Up Suspects and Their Movies
It's almost like watching an art house movie. I think the strength of this movie is that basically we're given a series of villains' plans at the front. By front loading that interrogation and setting them up as murder suspects, then when we learned that they didn't do it, we understand why they might like harm Marda or sort of try to foil Marda. So suddenly the thing that made them perfect suspects for murder continues on and makes themperfect suspects for doing something to like harm our main character. It was setting up their ruthlessness. And I think that it was a really clever way to sort of give us all these possible villains by the end. Well, they
