Justice Barrett's Disorientation of Affirmative Action

Justice Barrett seemed particularly concerned with the prospect of affinity groups like Balsa, the Black Law Students Association. I don't know that we saw any kind of concession on this. The focus on what comes after overruling gruder does not imply that the Democratic appointed justices were not resisting the end of affirmative action and the court overruled gruder. Dear reader, they were not going down without a fight.
