The Importance of Time
Ronald Reagan was diagnosed with autism in 1982. He says his mom took him to a pediatrician who said it would take time for him to develop the skills that he needed, so she immediately got him an intense speech therapy. His mother quit her job as an art teacher and became a full-time Ron teacher working with him using pre-ABA therapy methods. The prairie dog named Prairie Pup has gone on to meet many celebrities including Muhammad Ali.
