The Zoroastrian Tradition of Set
Zoroastrian tradition had the aspect of what we would think of as the Christ being, which they called a Huromazdau. And so they talked about the Dark Lord of the Earth, Airmen. Then as the Zoroastrian tradition, in time period, moved into some of the Egyptian mysteries, then this being was referred to as Set. He's involved with living on the physical earth and the powers of the physical earth. It's an essential part of this world. But he is an opposition being. Again, he did dismember Osiris.
