In his new book, Riht ghot ive explores the meaning of jehad. The term has its own history and can be used in a number of different ways to refer to islamic scripture or theology. But it's also an attempt to show how religions change over time for reasons that have a lot to do with material conditions. In this kind of moment of fulcrum between liberal democracy and authoritarianism, i think there are two kinds of orders: one on right wingliberal order; other left-wing authoritarianism.
