The Importance of Playing Games

James P. Carr's new book is called "Finite and infinite games" The main idea is that when we do things we're playing and the things we do are games. In fact a finite game is played for the purpose of winning an infinite game to continue the play. It's very much a casual read, you can pick up any part of it any page of it usually there will be a short section that'll make you think about something provocative.
