Don't Sleep There are snakes, Dan's memoir is his time there. He saw the way they lived that just he just loved and I think is relevant to sex at dawn and so on. It was like a college course or something in linguistics. But then the characters were just so huge. You know, it'd been this religious convert as a kid who became the same angelist and married this fellow religious nut we'll call him. And off they go to the jungle to turn this tribe, you know, to convert this tribe teach them Christianity...and Dan himself got converted by them.
