The Power of IMAX in the Service of Drama
The first section of the movie feels just like extended montage and you're kind of lost. And it's kind of like a dreamlike quality that kind of immerses you. I live for the day when I get to see some other film maker make something on IMAX film and actually cut those negatives and print it with the photochemical process. Because it's a really powerful tool for immersion. It's a reallypowerful tool for the emotional connection with the material. So now I strongly encourage any filmmaker until we do to try and shoot photochemically and hopefully a large format photochemistry because the imagery is beautiful and it's just fun to do.
