assyria had been slowly growing unchallenged for over 200 years. The capital city was a well fortified city state called asor. Trade routes were healthily established across anatolia, especially in the northwest. Shamshe adad came back to reclaim his home at ecalatam and then went onwards to claim the throne of assyria - starting a new amorite dynasty. Back in episode too, we speculated about the downfall of the acadian empire possibly being effected by a major redification event,. which led to the settlement at te laland being abandoned and left unoccupied for around three centuries. We have never located this site so are unable to confirm or deny
