Is This a Threat to Democracy?

The orbon version of autocracy is not like elcisi in egypt. It's you, ah, you get a two thirds majority in parliaments. You can change the constitution, so you jerrymander the districts. And your cronies take over the media so no one hears somethng. That's the slower, long lead time version of an illiberal state. One of the reasons we were weak to fashism is because the main stream press in this country cannot be honest a about the threats that we face. They are enamored of a kind of objectivity that has left us vulnerable.
