Angela, full name Angela Weisselman, never had cancer. Over the course of their correspondence, Nev and Angela sent more than 1,500 messages to each other. In a follow-up interview with the catfish herself, Angela explained that she was a troubled housewife who spent most of her days caring for her two severely handicapped step sons. It's also revealed in the interview that Angela had been diagnosed with schizophrenia. When speaking about her daughter, Abby, Angela says she has a hard time with it sometimes. Someday she's going to know how this really came down.
