The Blood Disciple in John the Son of Zebedim

Gospel leaves several clues potentially, you know, it builds certainly a characterization of this gospel. It positions him as a very intimate, close disciple of Jesus. The synoptics say that Jesus had three intimate disciples, Peter, James and John. That can't be Peter because Peter and the beloved disciple appear in same scenes.
