Do You Have a Chart Review?

Failing to complete a thorough chart review is also a big don't. Most attendings understand that early on, you're still learning and will be trying to create teaching moments around those gaps in your presentation. As you progress through your training, try to focus on the prose cons of your own plans and those of your attendings. For any part of the plan, you should be able to answer the question, why are we doing this? And think through why other approaches might be better or worse.
