How Artificial Intelligence Is Changing the Way We Speak
Google showed the world their AI assistant booking an appointment at a hair salon in 2018. These neural networks are not necessarily learning chromatically correct English. They're learning the way that we speak and when they learn that, they can also speak it themselves. The technology is improving to that point but I think the mistake with a lot of these technologies is that people see something working in a narrow area and they extrapolate.
