Heraclitus and the Stoics
Heraclitus was around before Socrates and also before the Stoics, but 500 BC or so. He wasn't by definition a stoic because obviously Stoicism was not a thing before him. Zeno wouldn't find Stoicism until a couple of hundred years later. The Stoics really developed this idea of logos to what is understood to be today with the exception of Christianity,. But predominantly, the idea of logos was really developed by the Stoics.
