The Two Evergreen Issues in Christian Theology
There are two evergreen issues in Christian theology that each century's thinkers seem compelled to revisit and reformulate. Augustine s writings on the subject of salvation are often situational, he is more liable to emphasize salvation by grace. And toward the end of his life, he seemed increasingly congenial to predestination. Late antique Christians like Augustine had complex and cautious creeds in regards to salvation.
