The Thriving Communities Initiative Is a Powerful System to Change

This fall, one of the things that got announced was actually a Thriving Communities Initiative. It's going to help coordinate each of the agencies and connect their regional staff to communities on the ground in addition to technical assistance providers being made available. Before they put out the grants and some of the technical assistance requests for funding, they had meetings with stakeholders ahead of time. They were like, what do you need? What doesn't work? And I feel like that's a powerful system to change.
