The value of the network is just orders of magnitude more important than being able to clone the product. It's like a synthetic version of something that you spend all your time in and then someone makes a clone of it full of different people. Changing a logo on a whim and usage probably going up is not replicating the things that are valuable about that network. The beauty of this I guess is with every change comes a huge amount of attention, either criticizing it or supporting it.
