The Usher and the Sub Sub

The author describes a 'sub sub' who picks up whatever random illusions to Wales he can find in any book whatsoever, sacred or profane. He says that the sub sub is an obsessive character and needs to keep adding to what he's already produced. The writer concludes by saying: "Here ye strike but the splintered hearts together, here ye shall strike unsplinterable glasses"
