Inevitably intuition is sometimes used in a way which is different from the way philosophers use it. It's not a psychic power, but it is fascinating and mysterious power. Its usually referred to mind reading, which makes you think of some kind of circus act. How exactly do you tell whether somebody knows that something is true? We're certainly not consciously calculating what people know. And you have a feeling that some one knows something or doesn't know something.
