The Importance of Civil Union

The transcendental Catholic says for a child who is already in a situation where his parents are of the same sex, would a civil union living as brother and sister be good for the sake of the child? I am not for civil union, this person is saying. I would not tend to say so. And the reason why I would go in that direction is because it's perpetuating an environment that is intrinsically not ordered according to what a family should be.
