Is Dependency Theory Dismissed?

Political politicalness of the economic discipline and social science in general, is a big part the answer. Uti think it's impossible to really understand the the squeezing out of dependency theory from economics in particular without looking at the discipline and how it's evolved over time. Especially since the seventies, there's been this er marginalization, not just of dependency theory, but of hatrodox theories generally. So i would argue that that's,. that's the main reason dependency theorists have been dismissed.
