The Isaacson Biography of Jobs - Does Next Matter?
Apple acquired next in 1996, when the company was in dire straits. The Isaacson biography of Steve Jobs doesn't talk about next for 13 years at all. Cox and Narrow are talking about themselves in the third person. They weren't necessarily writing these statements about themselves; it's just that they're speaking to each other.

We’ve been holding a Twitter Space weekly on Mondays at 5p for about an hour. Even though it’s not (yet?) a feature of Twitter Spaces, we have been recording them all; here is the recording for our Twitter Space for July 5, 2021.
