The Story of Mezcal Roja
A portion of every sale up from the mezcal collection goes back to a charity in mezcal called programa baca and so we're giving back to the communities there. I was really passionate about putting some sort of husky corn elote note into the mez cal roja fragrance and then I also have a cacao blossom note in there which I'll talk about later on this interview. There are over 30 different agaves that can you can create mezcal from some of them grow up to 50 plus years before they harvest them. When you're drinking mezcal it is such an art it's so much like wine I even sometimes think it's more complex
